thanks for the info and pictures. I have a place up there in Blairsville which is not far from there. I need to go up there pretty soon.

Great post. I grew up fishing in N. GA. with 4' rod, 2 lb test and 00 Mepps spinners. We released all of our catches. I avoided crowds and fished well above the easy access areas. We often ran into locals in cover-alls along the streams... thew were brewing ''shine" and wanted to check out the fishermen.
